FIVE DAY CORE SKILLS COURSE (PATENTS)

OBJECTIVES:

The objective of the Skills Course is to impart to the trainee Patent Attorney a) the skills required to draft patent specifications in particular the introduction, the specific description, the claims and the abstract of a patent specification and b) the skills required to deal with official objections raised by Patent Offices (i.e. the European and Uk Patent Offices).

FORMAT/METHOD

Real-life case studies and past JEB and EQE examination papers are used as the basis for tutors imparting to the trainee patent attorneys the requisite skills to meet the objective.

TUTORS:

The tutors are fully qualified European and UK Patent Attorneys with extensive experience in industrial and private practice.
